“The Film they didn’t want you to see” is now out with Revolutionary Trailer and Poster

Watch the most controversial film of the year, A film they didn’t want you to see is soon releasing in India. ‘Lipstick under my Bhurkha’ is the most sensual film of the year that you will be watching on the July 21st of this year. The trailer has been out and it’s getting released in Indian theaters after a fight of six months, from the ban made on the film


This film was reported to ban by the All India Muslim Tehwar Committee. The reason was picturising Islamic culture and the depiction about a woman’s choice of wearing the burkha in an unacceptable manner.

Notwithstanding it’s trailer had been released in the October 2016 it was just screened out of India, and was receiving other International Awards. The Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) helped Alankrita Shrivastava (director) and her team to get the film an ‘A’ certificate. ‘Lipstick Under My Burka’ is arriving at Indian theaters with a rebellious poster. Lipstick of 4 ladies will be soon kissing up the Indian box office as it has already received 11 International Awards till date. It was earlier screened at the Mumbai Film Festival that was held in 2016. It was also screened at the Tokyo Film Festival that was held in 2016. ‘Lipstick Under My Burka’ is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and produced by Prakash Jha. The star casts are Konkona Sen Sharma, Aahana Kumra, Ratna Pathak and Plabita Borthakur along with other actors. Along with these leads Sushant Singh, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Vikrant Massey, Shashank Arora and Jagat Singh Solanki will also be sharing the screen. Also, known producer Ekta Kapoor joined as part of the film to promote and distribute it in the country. She is up to explore women sexuality.
