Malaika Arora is known as the dancing diva of B Town. She got into fame with her Dil Se song with SRK called “Chaiyya Chaiyya” made in 1998. With this, she got many more such songs that shaped her career in B Town. As the days of remixes seem to rule the B Town, she feels that this is the song that should not be touched by people to get a reprise. The song was composed by AR Rahman and the voice was given by Sukhwinder Singh and Sapna Awasthi.
With its utter beauty and the track being made on the moving train, it did gain a huge round of applauds from the people. She feels that the song is still popular and should be enjoyed only without touching it in its original form. While talking about it on the new dance reality show called “India’s Best Dancer” she was posed this question where she opened her heart about it.
She called the song iconic and claims that it still inspires many to get on the dance floor. Recalling the song, she said it was choreographed by Farah Khan and her assistant was Geeta Kapur who is now with her as a co-judge in the show. She then informed that she used to study in the Terence Lewis Institute learning dance, music, and acting. She said Geeta had helped her a lot to get the steps right on the moving train. She further added that by making the remix of the song all we would do is tampering with the original.
