Ranveer Singh starrer 83 Gets a New Release Date

Just when the fans of Cricket and Ranveer Singh were gearing up to catch the trailer of the film 83, it was canceled due to the COVID 19 outbreak. The grand gala event of the trailer launch was then canceled and so was the release date of the film, which was supposed to hit the screen on the 10th of April. Now, as per reports, the makers have embarked upon a new release date. The film is now slated to release on 25th June 2020.
Yes, you heard it right, as per the reports of the entertainment portal called Bollywood Hungama, the film is now going to release on 25th June. Sources close to the makers claim that the date has remained special before the makers and the cricket fans as well it happens to be the same date when the Indian Cricket Team lifted the World Cup in 1983 defeating the defending champions – West Indies at Lords, in England. It will complete 37 years since India bagged the world cup.
The film is all about the winning team of Indian Cricket who bagged the world cup led by Kapil Dev. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil Dev, while Deepika Padukone would be playing the role of Mrs. Kapil Dev, while there is a slew of other actors in the film including Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani and Saqueeb Saleem to name a few. The film is directed by Kabir Khan. Stay tuned to know more about it.
