Just when the sequel Ek Villain is making headlines in the media, we now hear that the film was offered to Sidharth Malhotra who did the prequel but he rejected the offer. Yes, you heard it right, the actor who bagged the 2014 film with too much of applauds has rejected to accept the sequel as offered by Mohit Suri, the director of the film. Many feel that the film could have given a good career boost that is required at the moment.
Hence to many of his fans and friends, this decision to reject the sequel came as a surprise. However, the insiders feel that 2014 although they did well at the box office, did give all the applauds to Riteish Deshmukh who played a negative role in it. Hence many feel that this could be the reason for the actor to deny the movie. So, with Sid rejecting the film, we now have a fresh star cast for the sequel.
With the previous reports, the film Ek Villain 2, John Abraham is now on the board doing the film who would be playing the role of a villain. However, the sources claimed that this time Sidharth was keen on playing the negative character for the film.
